Basic Info Bio
I'm a mommy of five, ages 15, 13, 9, 7, and 5. ALL going on 25!! I am active duty military - and so is my husband Dan, and we currently live in North Pole AK.. yes... it's a real town and yes.. Santa Clause lives here. I am a Contracting Officer in the military as well as our Deployment Mangaer and Training Manager. I am slated to leave AK in May of 2007 shortly after I return from my four month deployment to Iraq. (this being the reason I started my on line journal!) I volunteer with the Chena Goldstream Fire and Rescue Department as an EMT II and absolutely love it. I also volunteer at Bassett Army Hospital as a medic on the Labor and Delivery Ward and as a Doula. Love that too! In my spare time... ha ha... I'm doing my academics to be a Midwife. I have four years and counting left in the Air Force and want to be a Midwife when I grow up!
